El artículo propone un nuevo paradigma edu-cacional que reúne en una misma concepción, organizadora y pedagógica, la teoría y práctica del que hacer docente y de la formación de ni-ños, jóvenes y adultos, respecto al mundo en que vivimos: la educación ambiental intercultu-ral, que emerge de la integración de lo que hoy se vive como separado, la educación ambiental y la educación intercultural bilingüe. La pro-puesta se construye desde los aprendizajes de un programa gubernamental en Chile, región de La Araucanía, entre 2004 y 2007: Programa Araucanía Tierra Viva.
Abstract
The article proposes a new educational paradigm that brings together in the same organized and pedagogical conception for the theory and practice of the teachers who work with children, youth and adults regarding the world we live in: the envi-ronmental intercultural education. The proposal emerges from the integration of what is now seen as separate, the environ-mental education and the intercultural bilingual education. The proposal has its origins in the learnings of a government program in La Araucanía, Chile, between 2004 and 2007: Programa Araucanía Tierra Viva.
