La ausencia de Colombia : un análisis diegético de Metástasis y Breaking Bad.
Abstract
La presente investigación analiza el contenido adaptado de Breaking Bad en la serie Metástasis, un producto colombiano que copia fielmente el contenido de la serie original. Desde esta primicia y al ver que la serie no produce su propia historia en Bogotá sino se basa de lleno en el contexto norteamericano, me pregunto por cuáles serán las enunciaciones del país que encontraremos en esta serie, cómo se narra así mismo y a otros, es decir ¿qué nos dirá la serie de Colombia? ¿qué representaciones habrán allí de los conflictos o cotidianidades colombianas? ¿Habrá algo de la sociedad colombiana allí expuesto? Y si lo hay, ¿Qué tipo de contribuciones se hacen desde allí para configurar imágenes y sentidos de la sociedad colombiana? Para llegar a responder esto se optó por un análisis socio-semiótico con un enfoque hermenéutico usando como herramienta el análisis de contenido interpretativo de Casseti y Di Chio. En el marco teórico se usaron categorías como adaptación, transposición, narcocultura, representación de sociedades en audiovisuales entre otros para entender el fenómeno al que está enfrentado el objeto de estudio. El análisis hermenéutico arrojo información valiosa sobre los elementos sociales y económicos que diferencian ambas series, la mirada xenofóbica hacía los mexicanos, el modelo de drogas presentado en el programa entre otros aspectos que abarcan las representaciones de frontera o de la policía.
Abstract
This research analyzes the content adapted from Breaking Bad in the Metástasis series, a Colombian product that faithfully copies the content of the original series. From this scoop and seeing that the series does not produce its own story in Bogotá but is based entirely on the North American context, I wonder about the results will be the enunciations of the country that we will find in this series, how it narrates itself and others, it is say what will the Colombian series tell us? What representations will there be of the conflicts or Colombian daily life? Will there be something of the Colombian society exposed there? And if there is, what kind of contributions are made from there to configure images and meanings of Colombian society? In order to answer this, we opted for a socio-semiotic analysis with a hermeneutical approach using the interpretive content analysis of Casseti and Di Chio as a tool. In the theoretical framework, categories such as adaptation, transposition, narcoculture, representation of societies in audiovisuals, among others, were used to understand the phenomenon that the object of study is facing. The hermeneutical analysis yielded valuable information on the social and economic elements that differentiate both series, the xenophobic look at Mexicans, the drug model presented in the program, among other aspects that encompass the representations of the border or the police.
