Abstract
Se presenta aquí un análisis histórico-epistemológico del proceso que siguió Mendeléiev para construir el modelo de periodicidad y su representación icónica en la tabla periódica que lleva su nombre. Se destaca el significado que tuvo para la sistematización del conocimiento químico. Igualmente, se pone de presente la importancia e influencia que tuvieron otros científicos, como las elaboraciones con-ceptuales y metodológicas que posibilitaron el trabajo de este personaje
Abstract
This paper show a historical-epistemology analysis of the process Mende-léiev followed for building a periodical model and this iconic representation in the periodic table which takes his name. It’s important the meaning the knowledge chemical system. Also, it tries to show the magnitude and influence that others scientifics had like conceptual and methodical manufacture which made possible the work of this important person
